Are TLC Diamonds real?

Yes, chemically, physically and optically our diamonds are the same as any mined diamond although our high purity levels (IIa) only occur extremely rarely in nature (1-2% *). TLC Diamonds should not be confused with imitation diamonds such as cubic zirconia or moissanite.

Are TLC Diamonds as beautiful as mined?

Absolutely! TLC Diamonds possess fire, scintillation and sparkle. Each laboratory-grown diamond is a one-off creation with its own personal characteristics and is individual and unique - a work of art.

Are TLC Diamonds a force for good?

Yes! Our diamonds are grown (and cut & polished) entirely in Britain, in compliance with stringent UK employment, social and environmental laws, using clean advanced technologies. We achieve our carbon neutral status through a combination of supporting tree-planting Carbon Neutral Britain combined with our charitable and environmental efforts. All of this is open to scrutiny which we believe will instil confidence in any discerning customer who cares about the environment and people as well as beautiful gems.

Are TLC Diamonds valuable?

Yes! Our laboratory-grown diamonds are extremely valuable. Although today, mined diamonds still command higher prices than laboratory-grown diamonds, we believe that in time, the demand for the demonstrably ethical and sustainable laboratory-grown diamonds we produce here in the UK will match, perhaps even exceed, the price of mined diamonds.

Are TLC Diamonds forever?

TLC Diamonds' process in creating our diamonds imitate the conditions natural diamonds are subjected to in nature. They are not treated by coating, dyeing or any other process which is intended to exaggerate or even falsify the intrinsic quality of a diamond. Accordingly the authenticity, colour and brilliance of TLC Diamonds is inherent and will not fade or alter over time. We see no reason why their resale value should not be sustained just as the resale value of any other desirable and beautiful gemstone diamond.
